Weekend Getaway

Cynthia has just been dumped by her girlfriend.

They’d planned to spend a nice, romantic weekend getaway in California’s spectacular Wine Country, just the two of them. But after a huge argument, she stormed out into the night, slamming the door on their plans.

Rather than waste the deposit, she decides to go anyway. She invites her good friend Holly to share the place – a big house with a very private back yard, a nice swimming pool, and a huge brick fireplace.

The spend the day swimming (Cyntha never wears a bathing suit on vacations) and sunning on the deck, and the evening relaxing by a crackling fire, sipping wine and listening to music.

Cyn knows her friend is straight; Holly knows her friend is gay. They’re both OK with things as they are. But the local wine is marvelous, the music is soft and lush, and the night can be very long and lonely...
