Digital Rights Management
Well, this is sure good news!
Our premiere downloads provider, Adult Enterprise Business Network, sent us a note regarding an important, and very welcome, change to their Digital Rights Management policy:
Hello,
We have spent a great deal of time analyzing the evolution of the way customers enjoy your movies via our network of Theaters. For some time now we've received negative feedback from members on our current policy of implementing DRM on our Download to Own product.
Currently, when a customer purchases a movie via our Download to Own option they must still connect to the internet in order to watch that movie. This creates a number of difficulties for them both in not being able to enjoy the content when not connected to the internet and with enjoying the content on multiple devices they own.
We are planning to remove DRM from our Download to Own product to accommodate this market demand. We are also confident that studios will see increased sales from this change.

Although we completely understand the desire of content providers for DRM on downloaded files, in practice it’s never seemed to work to anyone’s best interests, and just pisses off you customers — which is never a good thing.
It’s apparently going to take a few weeks to remove all traces of DRM from the thousands of files they host — but you can buy our videos now, confident that it’ll disappear in the (very) near future.
Of course, our videos remain available to rent, stream, or to purchase on ‘old school’ DVD’s if that’s the way you’d rather get them.
But from now on, when you Download to Own any of our videos from AEBN, you’ll really own them for keeps.
Buying Our Videos:
All of our titles are available on standard definition DVD’s. The disks all feature full menus, a half-dozen or so chapters stops, and a sparkling-clear Dolby® Digital soundtrack. They come in a full-size (14mm) ‘Amaray’ case and a color-printed cover and disk so they look good sitting on your shelf.
The price of each video is US$14.95, plus a very-reasonable US$4.95 for shipping and handling for orders of up to five DVD’s, and only US$9.95 for orders up to ten. Buy more than ten, and the shipping and handling are free! Overnight delivery via FedEx® is also available to most areas if you’re in a hurry, and costs US$19.95 per disk.
