Is this for real?

We shoot real videos, and pay real money.

But I’m no supermodel. Do I have a chance of getting a part?

Yep.

Yes, really.
This is video, so you need to look good on camera –
but we have a pretty relaxed idea of what that means.
Age, race, height, weight, bra size, etc.
are less important than you probably think.
Q:
What qualifications or experience do I need?
A:
At least some acting, modeling or photography experience is helpful
– but it’s not really necessary.
A nice smile, an outgoing personality and an enthusiastic attitude
are the only real requirements.
Oh – and please keep in mind
that experience in... ahem... this kind of thing...
is most definitely not required.
Eager innocence can be very charming.
Q:
What do I have to do?
A:
Have to? Not a damn thing.
We don’t pressure our actresses into anything
they’re not comfortable doing.

Will I need to sign anything?
A:
Of course you will. Please read our
Model Release carefully.
If you have any questions about what it means,
or some objection to what it says,
please let us know before coming over.
You’ll have to provide a positive ID and sign the release
before we can pay you.
Q:
Speaking of which, when will I get paid?
A:
We’ll hand you a check the moment the camera stops rolling and the
Model Release
is signed.
Please note: we don’t pay in advance, and we never pay cash.

A:
Absolutely not, ever.

How much do they pay?
A:
Supporting roles pay anywhere from $200.00 to $500.00,
depending on the screen time involved;
starring roles pay $1,000.00 for what’s usually a very full day of shooting.
Q:
How likely am I to land one of these high-paying roles?
A:
If you come through the initial interview OK,
then your chance of getting at least a supporting role is excellent.
